Job Summary/Description:
Gray Television (WOIO CBS19, WUAB CW43, WTCL Telemundo & Gray Digital Media) in Cleveland is searching for a Digital Sales Executive to develop a digital media business, remotely, in the Akron-Canton area and surrounding communities. We’re looking for an energetic, positive-minded salesperson to consult with local business owners and create effective digital advertising campaigns using the best digital resources in the business to exceed business goals and objectives. Ideal candidates have a strong understanding of the sales process, and digital media, and excel at researching leads, building new relationships, and closing sales. We’re looking for a quick learner, with strong communication skills. Base salary, plus generous commission percentages. Industry-leading training program provided. This is a “remote” position. MVR check required.

Duties/Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
• Weekly station meeting in the Cleveland location
• Meeting and exceeding monthly and quarterly sales goals
• Use and learn data-based results
• Cold calling and prospect for new clients in Akron–Canton & surrounding communities
• Minimum weekly appointments required in Akron–Canton & surrounding communities
• Sell and close new clients in Akron Canton & surrounding communities
• Conduct thorough client needs analysis
• Present proposed strategic solutions and tactics
• Provide follow-up assessments of advertising effectiveness
• Some travel required

• 1-2 years of cold calling or sales-related experience is preferred
• Experience in media sales or digital media, is a plus, but not required
• Excellent writing and communication skills, experience using MS Office products
• Bachelors Degree
