Individual Giving Operations Manager

Ideastream Public Media, a Cleveland-based multiple media organization and home to Ohio’s largest NPR, PBS and classical radio stations, continues to expand its news and information, arts and entertainment, classical and education services to 22 counties in Northeast Ohio. As part of this growth, Ideastream is seeking an Individual Giving Operations Manager (Manager) to provide data-driven insights and recommendations that drive efficiency and create new areas of support and engagement for its members and audience. Reporting to the Director of Individual Giving and Communications, the Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of tasks, responsibilities, and projects to ensure that the Individual Giving department achieves its objectives. In this role, you will collaborate cross-departmentally in areas including fundraising, gift processing, call center, and digital products to implement strategies and tactics that support departmental activities. This position is also responsible for managing the Audience Support Specialists and Individual Giving Database Manager.

Qualified candidates will demonstrate knowledge of relational database architecture and be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. A Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field, and five to seven years of fundraising CRM experience and knowledge of SQL is preferred, though an equivalent of experience in related fields and education will be considered. Strong organizational, time management, communication, and decision-making skills are also required. The salary range for this position begins at $65,000 and is commensurate with experience.
