The OAB, along with the Indiana and Kentucky broadcasters’ associations kicked off a webinar series to explore engineering best practices. Our thanks to Nautel and Tieline, sponsors of our session!
The TV best practices session (and our radio best practices session) were the first engineering forums that the Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky broadcasters’ associations produced, and we hope to organize more of these sessions.
This session focused on best practices in adapting to TV on-air talent and production working remotely during the stay-at-home order. We had more than 30 attendees for the session, which featured the following presentations:
• An Efficient & Economical Way to Support Remote Meteorologists
Debra Grivois, Director of Engineering, WLWT-TV (Hearst), Cincinnati

• Low Latency Return Video Solution: Providing Prompter, Multiview and Return Video to Producers, Anchors and Meteorologists Working from Home
